How It Began
A Children's Brand Born From a Family Legacy Spanning India, Kenya, and Hollywood.
Some brands are built in boardrooms. This one was built in the mangrove forests of India, on a British Airways-sponsored safari to Kenya, and on the film sets of Hollywood.
✓ At age 14, Avi Das won a British Airways international essay contest and was flown
to Kenya on safari — his subject: the Royal Bengal Tiger.
✓ His essay was published in British Airways’ High Life magazine alongside his own artwork — his childhood passions were wildlife, writing, and art.
✓ Decades later, Avi became a Hollywood VFX professional — CG Supervisor on Spider-Man 2 and major studio films.
✓ Four generations of family devotion to the Royal Bengal Tiger — Sheroo is that
legacy, made tangible for every child who needs to feel brave.
✓ Designed for the moments that matter most: bedtime, school drop-offs, hospital visits, travel, deployment, and co-parenting transitions.
Meet Avi Das
Hollywood VFX Supervisor. Storyteller.
Creator of Sheroo.
Avi Das spent over a decade in Hollywood as
a visual effects professional — his credits include Spider-Man 2
— crafting the kind of heroes that fill children with wonder.
Then he made something smaller. And more
powerful.
A companion built not for the screen,
but for the moments that matter most: bedtime, the first day of school, the
scary waiting room, the goodbye that's hard to say.
